Rothley Book Group

The book group meets once a month on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, 7-8pm at the library.  All are welcome. Just pop along or ask at the library for further details. A list of books selected for 2025 are displayed on a noticeboard near the large tables.

In August the group are reading  the 'Convenience Store Woman' by Sayaka Murate & Ginny Talley. Keiko is 36 years old. She's never had a boyfriend and she's been working in the same supermarket for 18 years. Keiko's family and friends wonder why she will not get married. Keiko knows what makes her happy and will not let anyone get between her and the convenience store...
