It's our 10th Anniversary as a community library this October and we are hosting a series of celebratory events throughout the year incl. our annual scarecrow trail, a special 10th birthday raffle and a tea party for volunteers, past and present in October. We are also running a family village trail, maps available for £2 with clues that guide you around the village - answers and refreshments available back at the library!

Community Book Group: Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Everisto
This month's book is Girl, Woman, Other, by Bernardine Everisto. Winner of the Man Booker Prize 2019. Girl, Woman, Other follows the lives and struggles of twelve very different characters. Mostly women, black and British, they tell the stories of their families, friends and lovers, across the country and through the years. The book group meets on the second Wednesday of each month, and is open to everyone, whether you've read the book or not.
